A few more shots of my parents' house expansion project as witnessed by miy one eyes this weekend.
The dining room just before the floor guy started installing the new hardwood in the new room. It's supposed to be done by Wednesday afternoon. His work will include sanding down and refinishing the existing hardwood so it all looks the same age.
This is the room over the new part of the main floor, as seen from Pops & K's closet. The part of the wall that juts out holds the new furnace, and on the other side there's a little nook right by the window.
The kitchen as presently constituted, with an extra TV, dresser and piano that aren't usually there. The high chair goes away when we do.
Having Pops' birthday cake on the porch, which is a little extra crowded.
