Boys will be boys

Let me start this out by saying I love my children. I really do. They are amazing little creatures, and watching them grow and hearing the things they think of is really a neat thing. However, why oh why do they have to be SO destructive? Is it just because they're boys? Is it because I don't discipline them enough? Is it because they have too many toys?

I've thought about all the possible answers to those questions and I've decided it's simply because they are boys with an incredible amount of energy. And because they're smart and inquisitive, which inevitably leads to trying things out to see what will happen. For example: What would happen if I threw this frisbee on top of the roof? OR What would it look like if I took this radio apart? OR Why shouldn't I throw anything that slightly resembles a ball around the house despite the fact mom and dad have told me not to every day of my life?

I have to be done with this post. I hear them throwing something against the side of the house.
