Christmas morning in Gurnee

This year was our first Christmas in our Gurnee house, and the first Christmas morning spent at our house since 2007, when Kristie was pregnant with Max (and while she and Jack battled pinkeye). The stockings were mostly hung by the chimney. Kristie's did not survive being stored in our Ottawa basement and a subsequent laundry treatment. K made Max's stocking, and got an M on it. The A and X will come later. And, of course, as soon as the presents are in, the stockings no longer hang...

I could not get both boys to smile at the same time, and I could not get Max away from the Goldfish. So this is as good as it gets.

Max got two different kinds of toddler fruit snacks in his stocking, and by the end of the day ate all 10. Plus most of a pound of strawberries (he ate the rest the next morning).
