On the Saturday of Thanksgiving week we celebrated Pops' birthday. Kristie, Charlie and Isaac headed down in the afternoon while I was on my way to DeKalb to retrieve Thing One and Thing Two. As an added bonus, Uncle Matt was in town briefly between his visit to San Francisco and his return to Champaign. So while we missed Kim and Micah (who shares a birthday with Pops) it was nice to have a somewhat bigger family gathering than our Thursday dinner.
