So when I woke and checked my email Dec. 23, I was not entirely surprised to see two emails with the subject "Scott Holland likes (book title) and thinks you will too." Most of the time the personal note has nothing to do with the book or app, it's just his avenue for sending an email with a message like "Max is snoring REALLY LOUD!!!!" But on this occasion, he was actually putting some thought into what he wrote, and he sent them to more than just me. For example...
