Well, it's 2015 now, and I really dropped off the map in regards to posting pictures here throughout the last few months of 2014. These photos, for example, are from Sept. 6, a Saturday when How and Pop came to town to watch Max play a soccer game. That afternoon we took advantage of some great weather and headed to one of our favorite spots, Illinois Beach State Park. The sky was so clear we could make out part of the Chicago skyline to the south, and the waves were the perfect amount of interesting without being overwhelming.

We seem to enjoy almost every trip to Lake Michigan, but this one was one of the most fun. Here's plenty of pictures in an attempt to make up for my lack of posting. My goal in 2015 is to get at least one photo posted every day (or at least an average of one per day!) and given my 2,000-photo backlog, I think I can make that a reality.
